RTL Engineer

Job Description

  • Understand functional requirements, and translate to microarchitecture
  • Implement the design in Verilog
  • Do sanity testing and verification support of implemented RTL
  • Perform post-RTL activities like synthesis, LEC and STA and also FPGA implementation as needed


  • Should have previous hands-on experience in going through design/verification flow
  • Familiarity with SoC design flow aspects like DFT, clocking and reset etc.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong technical/communication skills as well as ability to work with other functional teams
  • Previous experience with fixed point arithmetic, or wireless platforms is a plus

Verification Engineer

Job Description:

  • Architect verification environment, create test plan and test document
  • Develop verification environment, verification models and integrate verification environments
  • Develop test cases, verify test cases and debug failures
  • Develop script based utilities and support verification activities


  • Expertise in SoC Verification using SV/UVM.
  • Expertise in test plan creation, verification environment creation, Code Coverage, Functional Coverage and Assertions.
  • Excellent debugging and problem solving skills.
  • Experience in DSP verification is a plus.
  • Experience in Low Power verification is a plus.
  • Good knowledge in gate-level simulation, and Scripting languages like Perl, TCL.
  • Strong technical and communication skills

Software Engineer/Sr Software Engineer/Tech Lead (physical Layer)

The candidate shall be responsible for:
• Design and development of Satellite communication physical layer standards
• Interfacing to the SW/DSP/ Algorithms teams to translate DSP algorithms to custom SOC/DSP firmware (fixed point C & VLIW/SIMD assembly)
• System integration & verification of algorithms on DSP (HW/controller interfacing, FW/SW partitioning, module/system level testing)
• Analyzing and debugging the system issues (field trials, compliance tests, customer support)
• Optimizing system performance w.r.t MIPS/Memory/Latency requirements
Desired Technical Skills:
• Experience in Physical layer implementation for satellite wireless technology
• Experience in physical layer SW development (Layer1 Control/DSP)
• Experience in embedded software development
• Programming in C/C++ ,Matlab and VLIW/SIMD assembly on processors like C64x/Blackfin etc.
• Excellent analytical and debugging skills
• Prior experience with chip development / commercialization is a plus

2-9 yrs. in the relevant domain.

Software Engineer / Sr Software Engineer/Tech Lead (Embedded System Engineer)

The candidate shall be responsible for:
• Design and development of applications for microcontrollers
• Architecting and designing complete systems for embedded platforms
• System integration with L1 layer & verification of the entire system
• Analyzing and debugging the system issues (field trials, alpha customer support)
Desired Technical Skills:
• Experience in development and troubleshooting on embedded microcontroller platforms
• Programming in C/C++
• Hands-on experience in I2C/SPI/UART communication protocols on ARM/MIPS based platforms
• Knowledge of reading schematics and data sheets of components.
• Excellent analytical and debugging skills
• For senior positions experience in product development lifecycle from concept till customer support will be a major plus.
2-9 yrs. in the relevant domain.

Wireless Software Engineer: (2 Nos)

– Should have worked on design and implementation of L2/3, OAM software conforming to WiMAX or LTE specifications
– Should have good understanding of embedded platforms in terms of IPC, optimization for speed as well as code size.
-Experience in Linux drivers is an added advantage
-Experience in Python is an added advantage

– Should have 3-6 years of experience in software development for wireless devices (both CPE and BTS) in C/C++


Embedded Software Engineer: (1 No)

– Development of network drivers
– PCIe
– spi/i2c drivers
– Should be able to understand board schematics, communicate with hardware and FPGA teams on requirements and design issues
– Should have worked with open-embedded or Yocto build systems
– Should be able conversant with hardware-software partitioning of the components
– Exposure to TI keystone architecture is an added advantage
– Exposure to TI OMAP is an added advantage


– Should have 4-8 years of experience in embedded linux development. This includes (but not limited to)
