Saankhya Labs Asset Tracking Solution
Real time tracking and monitoring of assets like fishing boats and locomotives is very crucial. The assets can be present in remote locations without mobile network connectivity. In these locations the tracking can be done via satellite communication solutions. Saankhya Labs provides end to end solutions for asset tracking, including hubside equipment (modulators and demodulators) at central control locations and 2-way MSS terminals installed in the assets to be tracked. Unlike many other asset tracking solutions, Saankhya Labs Real-Time Asset Tracking solutions include 2-Way communication capability which can help in better management and increasing the efficiency of operations.

Vessel Tracking System
Saankhya Labs Vessel Tracking System consists of 2-way MSS terminal NAVDOOT mounted atop fishing vessels and L-Band Multichannel Burst Demodulator installed in the central control location. The MSS Terminal is configured to transmit its geo-location coordinates to the satellite at regular intervals. The signal is synchronized by the in-built GPS system to relay the real time location of the locomotive. Apart from real-time location tracking, it is also possible to do 2-way communication between locomotive and central control.

Vessel tracking has a number of advantages including tracking and monitoring of vessels in deep sea, emergency broadcast messaging in case of storms and cyclones, SOS signaling from boats, quick assistance from nearby boats in case of emergency, identification of friend and foe by coast guard or navy, preventing the boats from unintentionally crossing the international boundary etc.

Locomotive Tracking System
Saankhya Labs Real-Time Locomotive Tracking System consists of 2-way MSS terminal NAVRAIL mounted atop locomotives and L-Band Multichannel Burst Demodulator installed in the central control location. The MSS Terminal is configured to continuously transmit its geo-location coordinates to the satellite over S-Band. The signal is synchronized by the in-built GPS system to relay the real time location of the locomotive. Apart from real-time location tracking, it is also possible to do 2-way communication between locomotive and central control.

Real-Time location tracking has a number of advantages including better regulation of railway traffic, reduction in railway collisions, increasing punctuality of trains and giving accurate information about arrivals, departures and delays to the passengers.
